Bowl Games of America (BGA) hosts the thousands of high school students that participate in the pregame & halftime shows music festivals of many of the bowl games each year. Since 1993, Creative Video has professionally produced with multiple cameras 90 minute edited DVDs of these events in addition to souvenir posters of each event.

In an effort to increase sales of these souvenir posters, Creative Video created an interactive Flash website dedicated to showing humorous and deleted clips from the bowl game event DVDs. Users could select any BGA run event, read descriptions of clips, watch a clip selected from a gesture responsive clip list, and comment on that BGA event via a guest book window. The site, entitled BGA Aftershow, included numerous advertisements for the souvenir posters on the page and at the beginning and end of many video clips. In our collaboration with BGA, Creative Video sent the site to them for approval – it was a hit.

Over the course of the next year, BGA decided that they would use this BGA Aftershow idea as a marketing tool as well, aimed at increasing the number of schools buying trips to and participating in their bowl game events. Creative Video is currently in development of the new, redesigned BGA Aftershow website, due to launch early 2008.

Creative Video’s DVDs and specially produced recruitment DVDs have been BGA’s best marketing tool for the FedEx Orange Bowl, Allstate Sugar Bowl, Toyota Gator Bowl, AutoZone Liberty Bowl, Valero Alamo Bowl, Pacific Life Holiday Bowl, Champs Sports Bowl, Hollywood Christmas Parade, Chicago Thanksgiving Parade and several other bowl games. Creative Video produced and replicated over 15,000 souvenir & promotional DVDs for BGA in 2007.
