Creative Video has produced The Penn Commencement and Penn Senior Week DVD since 1994. Creative Video uses a five-camera production with two cameras on the stage with a close-up & medium shot and three additional cameras roving to capture the best graduate B-roll shots during the ceremony. Each year interviews are recorded with graduates in the lineup area before the ceremony begins. Creative Video then captures all the pageantry as the graduates process down locust walk led by the class officers with the class flags, The Penn Band and bagpipers as they stroll through campus one last time to historic Franklin Field. This year Emmy-award winning actor Denzel Washington delivered the commencement address to the Class of 2011. This is the open from the video that used dazzling special effects and many layers of video along with animated motion graphics for the graduates of this ivy league institution.
